Broadway
The best straight in a poker game. An ace high straight, i.e. from 10 to ace.

Wait For The Big Blind
When a player enter an active poker table either for the first time or when leaving and coming back to the table he can only do it in the big blind position. Waiting for the big blind means waiting the big blind position to get to your sit at the table.

In Online poker games when entering a new online poker room you are given the option to choose between posting an additional blind equal to the big blind or wait for the big blind.Rt ? blind

Doyle Brunson
Texas hold em poker starting hand 2 T. Named that way after super system author Doyle Brunson that won the WSOP two years in a row with those hole cards.

Leather Butt
A poker player that plays many different poker styles or plays for a long period of time.

Wayne Gretzky
Texas hold em poker starting hands 9 9. Named after the number the famous hockey player used to have on.

Unsuited
In poker, describing two or more cards from different suits (i.e. any combination of Hearts, Clubs, Spades, Diamonds). Unsuited cards can not make a flush.

Third Man Walking
A poker player that walks away from a poker table after two players have already left the table, so he is the ‘third man walking’ away from the table. Some casino plays with a ‘third man walking’ rule. The rule says that a ‘third man walking’ seat will only be saved for him for as long as 10 minutes or one rotation of the deal around the table, than after the seat will be taken by the first person in the waiting list.

Stone cold nuts
A poker phrase referring to the best possible hand that will win the whole pot as opposed to winning half of it or other fragment of the pot. For example: In Texas hold em poker, having pair of suited aces in the hole and complete them to a flush when the board has no pairs.

Splash the pot
To throw your chips into the pot disorderly instead of placing them nicely and orderly so that the dealer can count and know how much was betted. Splashing the pot is not allowed in casinos for the reason mentioned before.

My ex loved poker, especially hold em, and I have never heard most of the above-mentioned words.
